An unlikely month to begin.
BroadArks was founded in March 2020, a month that taught every founder in the world the difference between a plan and a conviction. Mr. Pankaj Dutta and Dr. Kaveri Dutta had both spent careers on opposite sides of the same challenge: one building enterprises and competencies, the other studying what actually changes a person's circumstances.
What they kept arriving at was the same conclusion from different directions. Technology, left to itself, concentrates advantage. Human development, without technology, struggles to scale. Neither works alone at the size of the problem India is facing, and neither should be asked to.
So BroadArks was built as a parent company rather than a single business: a structure deliberately wide enough to hold a training platform, a deep-tech venture, a responsible commerce house and a not-for-profit foundation, without any one of them distorting the others.
Each division has its own market, its own timeline and its own definition of excellence. What they share is a test they must pass before anything ships: does this expand what a person can do?
“Progress becomes meaningful when technology expands human possibility.”

Co-Founder
Mr. Pankaj Dutta
Mr. Pankaj Dutta has spent close to three decades building enterprises across technology, manufacturing and services, the kind of work that only looks like strategy in hindsight and feels like stubbornness at the time. At BroadArks he holds the long view: which core competencies India should own, which businesses deserve patience, and what progress should feel like for the people on the other side of it.

Co-Founder
Dr. Kaveri Dutta
Dr. Kaveri Dutta works at the intersection of human development, learning systems and social outcomes. Her research-led approach shapes how BroadArks designs for people, from professional training pathways and artisan livelihoods to the measurement frameworks that tell us whether any of it actually worked.
Six years, four divisions.
Built one conviction at a time, with each division opened only when the problem was understood well enough to stay with it.
BroadArks is founded
Mr. Pankaj Dutta and Dr. Kaveri Dutta establish BroadArks in March 2020, with a single conviction: enterprise, technology and human development belong in the same sentence.
